Jp Morgan Wallet

Testing

Before going live in production, you can simulate J.P. Morgan Wallet™ transactions in the test environment without moving any physical funds.

Coordinate your testing efforts with our implementation team members. These team members are available to answer questions, provide status updates, and review test plans and schedules.

Set up your Wallet program

Before you can start testing, you must set up your Wallet program. See Getting started for more information.

Limitations

The Wallet test environment does not allow you to simulate all possible use cases and scenarios and is not intended as a substitute for thorough testing in production prior to release. For example:

  • You cannot initiate transactions that involve actual cash movement in the test environment and certain interactions will be mocked.
  • You cannot simulate returns.
  • You do not always have access to statement reporting with entries that correspond to transactions that the test environment initiates.

The Wallet test environment is not intended for performance or stress testing. Limit transaction volume to three transactions per second (TPS) over any given five-minute period and to a total of 10,000 transactions over the course of any given 24-hour period.

Services deployed in the Wallet test environment are consistent with services deployed in our production systems, so the test environment should not be considered a co-development environment.

Due to these limitations, test in the production environment after testing in the test environment and before going live.
