Screen a business entity
In this tutorial, you'll understand what information is required to screen a business or organization's name against Sanctions and/or Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) lists.
Before you begin
To retrieve the status of a Validation Services request, you will need the following:
- A registered and fully onboarded Developer Account on the J.P. Morgan Payments Developer Portal.
- An active profile that provides you with the credentials to make a request.
Screen a business entity
The business screening process screens a business entity details against sanctions lists and returns results when the submitted information closely matches that of a sanctioned entity. To initiate screening, call a POST request to the /v2/validations/entities endpoint. Below are some examples of business screening:
