Getting started
To try out the Alerts and Decisioning API and learn how our services work, you’ll need the following:
- A J.P. Morgan Payments developer account to access your personal workspace.
- A certificate exchange between J.P. Morgan and your employer verifying that you are confirmed to work in the Client Test Environment.
- An active project in the Payments Developer Portal with the Alerts and Decisioning API enabled.
Once you sign in and create your project, you’ll be able to retrieve your workspace credentials and start making requests immediately. For more detailed steps on using the Developer Portal, check out the Developer quick start page.
Apply for a live client account
Once you create a workspace project, you can initiate your client experience on the Developer Portal. At the bottom of the project page, look for the blue button to request access. Fill out the form and we’ll get in touch with you within three business days. Some things needed before accessing your live account include:
- Client profile ID or access ID: We'll collect the business details J.P. Morgan needs prior to partnering with you. Our sales team work with you to help create the access client id
- Product selection and configuration: Our sales team will help you choose the features needed for your business.
- Test client credentials: Our implementations team will help authenticate you and issue test client credentials.
Integrate and test
We provide client acceptance testing (CAT) and production environments for application development and operation. Each environment has its own base URL. Complete integration and initial testing in CAT before you configure your application to use the production environment.
