The update resolves issues reported by merchants and partners, with particular attention to transaction processing, reporting accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with industry standards.
New
This release introduces improvements to how software updates and settings are managed for payment systems operating in semi-integrated and service modes. Merchants have direct control over accepting or postponing updates from their point-of-sale (POS) terminal, streamlining the update process. No changes apply to standalone mode.

- Update notifications: The Payment Terminal Application provides an option to postpone updates and sends clear notifications when updates are available and complete.
- Transparent update management: To ensure transparency throughout the update process, the Payment Terminal Application checks for updates automatically and displays clear status messages.
- Secure update authorization: To maintain protection and reliability for the Payment Terminal Application, updates and installations are managed securely.
- Enhanced user experience: To make update progress easier to follow, the update process includes clear feedback and instructions.
Change
- Receipts and reporting: Receipts display all necessary transaction details, such as table numbers, approval status, and cardholder information, making it easier to track and reconcile transactions.
- Transaction processing: Improved accuracy and reliability for sales, refunds, voids, and tip adjustments. Resolved issues affecting transaction approvals, partial payments, and receipt details.
- User experience: Updated on-screen messages, prompts, and instructions for greater clarity. Transaction result screens, approval messages, and receipts display in the correct language and format.
- Error handling and stability: The Payment Terminal Application provides clear feedback for errors and has addressed issues that cause transaction delays, screen freezes, or incorrect prompts, resulting in a more stable and reliable payment experience.
- Security and compliance: Security and compliance have been strengthened, including improved handling of authorization, parameter updates, and system logging.
- Additional enhancements:
- Easier access to network and system information, such as IP address, from the menu.
- Improved logging and system monitoring for better support and troubleshooting.
- Updates to EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) processing, including enhanced validation and support for different transaction types.
- Enhanced handling of Retrieval Reference Numbers (RRN) in Semi Integrated solutions: RRNs exceeding 12 bytes are now automatically truncated for both transactions and reversals, ensuring consistent approval processing and preventing local transaction declines.
