Integrate with IntelliJ IDEA
The MCP server is designed to work with MCP-compatible clients including IntelliJ IDEA.
You can find client-specific setup instructions in the respective client providers’ documentation.
To enable MCP servers in IntelliJ IDEA, you must install their AI assistant and sign up for a premium account or at least a free trial. However, we have provided partial setup instructions below.
Install the MCP server on your machine to clone the repository and install dependencies.
Install JetBrains AI Assistant:
Open IntelliJ IDEA
Go to Settings -> Plugins
Search for and install JetBrains AI Assistant
