You need both TLS and digital signature certificates. You can download J.P. Morgan’s public certificates from the Developer Portal. For more details, see the Authentication section in the portal.
What characters can I use in payment instructions?
Use only standard Latin letters (A-Z, a-z), numbers (0-9), and a few special characters like /, -, ?, :, (, ), ., ,, ‘, +, and space. Don’t use carriage returns or line feeds.
Operations and troubleshooting
How do I check the status of a wire transaction?
Use the Track-n-Trace API to check the status of high-value wire payments. You can also track payments with SWIFT GPI tracking if you use the Track-n-Trace with GPI API.
What should I do if I get a duplicate payment error?
If you get a duplicate payment error, check the payment status using the Track-n-Trace API before resubmitting. This helps avoid accidental duplicate payments.
What do I do if I get a 503 error code?
A 503 error means the system is unavailable, but your payment may still have gone through. Check the payment status before trying again.
