Payment methods
The following payment methods are currently supported for each Salesforce Commerce Cloud storefront type.
Cards (credit/debit)
Consumers can make payments using credit/debit cards through out-of-the-box card acceptance, with optimized auth flows and error mapping to reduce integration efforts and boost approval rates across issuers.

Page integrated encryption (PIE) encrypts the real card data before it leaves the consumer's browser. This reduces the security burden and helps with PCI compliance.
PINless debit
US PINless debit cards can be used for e-commerce transactions. PINless debit transactions route eligible transactions as debit without a PIN for lower costs and higher approvals, enabled via simple configuration rather than custom logic.
Apple Pay
Apple Pay is a secure digital wallet payment service developed by Apple to enable consumers to make card payments using Apple mobile devices, such as phones, tablets, and watches. Native wallet buttons and tokenized rails enable one-tap checkout, decreasing friction and cart abandonment with minimal setup.
