Documentation parameters

The following table outlines the supported parameters when returning documentation to the issuer justifying a valid transaction during  Challenge a chargeback and Fulfill a retrieval request actions.

Documentation parameters per network and format

All images must be delivered as a .tif or.pdf file type and have the following parameters:

200 DPI or less

“Resolution Unit” must be set to a value of either “2” or “3”

If the image resolution is greater than 200 DPI, Visa attempts to increase the dimensions of the image. If the expanded image exceeds the maximum size allowed (8.64 inches x 14 inches), Visa “samples” the image accordingly so that it fits within this limitation.

Maximum page size is 8.64 inches x 14 inches.

Visa .pdf Color, BW 2 MB

200 DPI or less
